Trial class flow chartBefore joining regular classes at CrossFit Guelph all new members are required to complete training in the skills necessary to participate in CrossFit workouts safely and effectively.

After your free trial class and assessment we will determine what type of initial training will suit you the best.

Options for initial training:

Fast Track Training consists of three one-hour private classes with one of our professional trainers. This is suitable for people with reasonably good fitness and some previous training experience and no mobility issues who passed the FMS assessment.

Bootcamp consists of a series of scheduled group classes with one of our professional trainers. This is suitable for people with reasonably good fitness, no previous training experience necessary and no serious mobility issues who passed the FMS assessment.

Personal Training consists of a series of one-hour private classes with one of our professional trainers. The number of classes depends on the progress made by the student. This is suitable for people with a poor level of fitness and no prior experience, and for those who failed the FMS assessment.

Once you have successfully completed your initial training, you are ready to graduate to regular CrossFit classes and can attend any classes on the schedule.

Our Coach Sandor Balo is a former coach in the Serbian national Olympic Lifting program. He has served as a Junior National and Woman’s team coach and worked as an athletic therapist. Recently he finished 2nd at  the Canadian Masters 2012.

A fun, safe and challenging class for kids ages 12-17.  At CrossFit Guelph we provide our kids with skills and strength to help them in life and in their sports. Healthy and strong kids are less injury prone and more likely to become healthy and fit adults. Our focus is on technique and consistency with intensity layered in as the kids become proficient in the basics.

CrossFit Guelph Kids classes are offered on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and are restricted to 10 kids per class. 75.00 plus applicable taxes.

Bootcamps

xfit ladiesA one-hour high energy group class in a safe, fun, supportive and of course challenging environment.  At CrossFit Guelph our Bootcamp classes are designed for beginner and intermediates athletes and to facilitate a gentle exposure to CrossFit methodology and skills. After  graduating Bootcamp you will have  the knowledge and confidence to participate fully in any of  our regular classes.

Cost for four weeks is $105.00  plus HST.

Bootcamp classes are limited to ten participants per camp and begin on the first Tuesday of each month. Bootcamps run for a full month, Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7 pm.
